I've had the deathadder for a while now and my gaming came on a treat switching to it from a diamondback. Slightly bigger and as smooth as Jenna's crotch :wink:

my missus bought a set of these Ice - they are nice, maybe to nice... i was used to my old crap headset that was from a PS2 game, worked on PC tho :).

could hear people sneaking round corners and through bushes and shiit... couldnt do that before - so sound quality is very good, also cant hear anything outside of the game - they block out all noise, and this is what i didnt like - i felt deaf to anything going on around me... This will be a positive to some people of course tho.

They broke very easilly for me - i think i stood on them, not very hard, and they never worked again... :uwhat:

Never tried the fatlity ones so cant comment

my have been pretty robust tbh, i keep dropping them n stuff and they work fine, but i kno what u mean about blockin out all the sound Si mate, i like to listen to music while i play, this makes it annoying as if u want to listen u haev to turn it right up but then ppl can hear ur music instead of u talkin rofls

never buyin creative again... had a headset and it broke... 2 replacements then they [f*cked] me about so i [f*cked] em off and i had a creative fatality mouse.... yeah its a good mouse, thats if u play like a fkin fairy and dont click much, useless sack of crap thing broke too easy.....

/callvote bowz should get his swearing activation mic back ([f*ck] me that was funny but annoying)

Shaggy has kindly sent me a Medusa 5.1 Mobile Edition headset (USB connection), does anyone here have the ProGamer Edition version with the 5.1 jacks?

If so:

1> Would the 5.1 jacks give you better 5.1 sound over a single USB connection?
2> Do the cables provided allow you to have BOTH the headset and a 5.1 speaker system connected at once to the 5.1 sound card (or do you have to keep swapping them about?)

Just curious :)
