Thing is Godz, kimi had 'the' list, they have seen the poll, they knew all the features that would have made the game gr8 according to the FC community, had the code given to them for auto downloading etc etc etc etc and what did they do with all that info???

I mean come on, its not like we can take a shite game back to the retailers once we have brought it, so what do they care, they will make enough money just from the console gamers to keep them selves in business, and judging by the way warez was on-line before the official release what's the point of them supporting PC gamers ?

I would like to return FC2 to the retailers as it is right now, but i also said from the start, I would give this game a good run for its money, the fact that all the BASIC functionality of on-line MP was already present in FC1 and only needed tweaking, really makes me wonder. Have they done this intentionally !

Well, if you and Godz arent happy with it and dont intend to play it anymore - why not make it public knowledge that you will close your FC2 fansite (ie: on your fansite and ubi forums) - that may put the willies up them and make them act fast - though we should give them a chance with a patch first.

I think the person in charge of MP has never done the job before in their life, and I'd have loved to have been a fly on the wall in the meetings discussing it.

Looking at the list of what needs fixing you've done on the ubi forums (and you've missed "add sniper sway" and give rcon control" I believe) I think Ubi need to come up with more of a complete new game than a patch 'cos there's nothing original left in there

Since everyone wanted weapon sway on scoped weapons it was added to the General list mate - covering all platforms.

Would you want RCON if there was a better Admin GUI that lets you do the basics: kick, ban, force to team, change map, vote?

there doesn't seem to be any way to log in as an admin in online games though ????? unless I've missed it (very possible since I've only tried playing online 3 times) which is why I thought rcon, but the XT way would be easier

To be honest, I havent noticed an admin login either, will have a look tonight, if not will add it the list.

i have already emailed my contact at ubisoft saying although we have almost 1 million hits at farcry 2 world and getting close to 2000 forum members i am finding it difficult to be inspired about keeping farcry2world going and ped is feeling the same. it would be a shame if we let it fade away but why keep it going if the hype of the game is falling apart

I know if I wasnt playing the game I wouldnt have motivation to keep the site going, I'd just bin it - shock-n-awe style

However, should give them a chance with a patch first though, I just hope they fired or re-positioned the person who made the MP decisions.

we are giving it a month probebly 1st of december somehting should be done by then, there would be one big decision to get the community back in favour simple really apart from little things putting assault back would be well need a say more
