On "the 60% of servers are illegal" issue.

It's just struck me that their definition of illegal servers and ours are different.

We think of a cracked server which allow illegal GUIDs to play.

They think of a server without its own unique GUID (ie a separate copy of the game bought for each server).

Mercenary, yes. But the cost per server to a clan over the game's 2-year life-span would be minimal. It would also be easy to police - at least appearance on the official server list would.

We've been had over, manipulated to suit IW's own control-freak ends.

Link?

I know amazon.COM has disabled customer reviews on their website, but amazon.CO.UK still had them enabled...with over 150 1 Star Reviews lol.

UPDATE
Amazon.CO.UK has now removed all customer reviews and disabled further ones. I guess they didnt want to put people off buying the game lol, no doubt they've got a stack of them in their warehouse to shift!

as far as I know the game hasn't gone officially gold yet mate, meaning no fabricating yet.
but then again some have seen IW members play it on Xbox Live last week.

is there an "official guess" on how many pre orders have been cancelled?

not only on amazon, all the others too.

Companies such as amazon will never release that info as they dont want their business competitors to get it. There are rumours of over 20,000 pre-orders cancelled on Amazon alone, but given what I previously said....its all speculation.

I guess we'll find out when its released. It will obviously sell really well on consoles, so any non PC-Specifc gaming chart wont paint an accurate picture.

during my daily browsing I came across a game called "Alliance of Valiant Arms"

It's a bit like mw and cs:s(perhaps an alternative to mw2??) with modes like protect the objective.

Eventhough it's a free game it still looks good (Unreal3 Engine)

The game's official release is in December but atm there is a open beta.

Here's some footage.

Looks a lot like another spray and pray freebie I tried a while ago called Crossfire, no ability to use iron sights and used it's own "uncrackable" anticheat.
Within a couple of weeks the game was full guys with either invisibility or aimbots, and the really lame fat american retards who used both
